Dunkin Donuts @dunkindonuts wants you to know it has a new blend — Dark Roast. It is serving up free medium cups today for National Coffee Day.

The chain is offering a free 12oz regular coffee. For $1, you can get a mocha, latte or iced coffee.

McDonald’s @mcdonalds has been giving away free coffee for two weeks, an offer that ends after today. They have been giving away free small cups of coffee during its breakfast hours.

At Starbucks @starbucks it's business as usual. They aren't offering anything today.

Lane Bryant + Refinery 29 LBTOLEDO event

This past Thursday I went to the Isabel Toledo event at the Lane Bryant Chicago Flagship Store. The Lane Bryant + Refinery 29 event was great. It was wonderful to see the Chicago plus size community come alive. The event was hosted by Gabi of gabifresh.com. The night included Instagram photo booth, light bites, drinks and what's a party with out a DJ.

The night centered around Isabel Toledo's latest collection exclusively for Lane Bryant. The Fall collection included iridescent hue pairs with 40s style designs. I had the pleasure of trying on one of the pieces and having Isabel herself zip me up. I also got cheek to cheek with Mr. Toledo. He was so warm and inviting to me from the second I walked into the store. The couple is clearly a force in fashion.

The Lane Bryant staff was amazing also always. I had the pleasure of meeting Lane Bryant's President & CEO Linda Heasley. She told me she loved how I put my looked together, from my lipstick to my hand bag. She had me glowing. I was able to see the line being wore by women of different shapes and sizes. Although the price point is beyond my budget I'm so happy I had the chance to attend. I was inspired!!!
