Who What When Where How {Developing Personal Style}

The who in developing personal style.
Who are you? Your personal style tells people who you are before you open your mouth.  I once sat with a friend.  While random chatting like friends do she mentioned a lot of women were hitting on her.  Besides the fact that she's gorgeous her personal style was one commonly seen within the gay community.  I laugh and advised her of that.  She then told me " Well that's not me."  I could clearly tell that's not what she wanted her clothes to say about her.  I asked her why she wore what she wore.  It's comfortable was the answer many of my question.  I advised her that you can be comfortable and say who you are at the same time.

Now I'm the queen of dresses.  I love a dress because it's a full outfit in one garment.  However that's not for everyone and that's ok.  There are ways to show your personal style without feeling you have to completely charge your current look.  You don't have to go out and spend hundreds of dollars.  A lot of my favorite looks are the ones that I spent pretty much nothing on.
It does take time to develop what you want your clothes to say about you.
Here's two things I want you to think about until we meet in the next post in the Who What When Where How series. Who are my clothes saying I am now? Who do I want them to say I am?

Remember we are working on growing ourselves not just looking good for the gram.  My style has grown as my confidence grow.  I was searching for myself and when I found me the Fat Girl of Fashion was born.  I at time struggle but together we can do this.
