Fashion Fair's FFCReveal at Macy's event
1973 Fashion Fair was marketed itself to high-line department stores and opened it's first counter in Chicago at the Marshall Fields (now Macys) on state street.
"Almost 40 years after the first counter opened, Fashion Fair Cosmetics continues to pursue it’s vision to become the preeminent global company that women of color trust to help them look and feel beautiful." _ Fashion Fair
Friday Fashion Fair and Macys on State street offered it's shoppers a new counter. I must say it's beautiful. The big reveal reintroduced this self proclaimed make-up junkie to a brand I haven't used in a long while. FFCreveal was a wonderful event. Fashion Fair held Master classes with Katrese Kirk-Watson, Fashion Fair's National Training manager, Fashion Fair's global creative director Tia Dantzler and world famous beauty blogger Afrobella . Shoppers were treated to make up application services from Fashion Fair muas. The party then moved upstairs to the 7th floor where we were treated lite bites and drinks. The FFCreveal party was hosted by Loni Swain of WGCI. The party included music spin by DJ K Yung , words about Fashion Fair then and now, a champagne toast to the new counter, product testing and two wonderful giveaways.

We most not forget Eunice Johnson the creator of Fashion Fair; started the line as away to offer cosmetics to women of color when the brands at the time didn't. Her dream of having women of color at the forefront of people minds when thinking of foundation, shadows and lipsticks has been answered by many of those same brands. Her line is still here for us. Her line is alive and well. Fashion Fair had reinvented themselves with new packaging. New products and now a new counter. However, one thing has remained true. Fashion Fashion offers women of color quality cosmetic products at affordable prices.
If you're in Chicago I encourage you to stop by the new Fashion Fair counter and get you face beat by their lovely MAUs that are ready to server you. Fashion Fair can always be purchased online at www.fashionfair.com
